Makuhari Messe

One of the Japan’s top convention complexes, located in Makuhari New City, exactly halfway between central Tokyo and Narita International Airport.  The Messe consists of three facilities: the International Exhibition Halls, International Conference Hall, and Makuhari Event Hall.

The International Exhibition Halls offer a stupendous 72,000 square meters of space capable of hosting any kind of event.  Some famous events we have hosted include Summer Sonic and FOODEX Japan.

Our International Conference Hall is a world-class convention center equipped to host conference of over 1500 participants. Starting with the large-scale “Convention Hall” and “International Conference Room”, the facility has a total of 22 meeting rooms of a variety of sizes.  In 2011, we completed renovations on the first floor, creating four new medium-sized conference rooms (#102 – #105) with a combined capacity of 670.

Finally, the Makuhari Event Hall is an arena-style facility capable of hosting large-scale sporting, music, and other events.

The three facilities can be combined with each other, or with nearby convention hotels, in any number of arrangements to provide a supreme degree of flexibility for hosting events — for example, by combining an exhibition or trade show in our International Exhibition Halls with the seminars, lectures, or receptions in the directly adjacent International Conference Hall.

(See our website for more information, including detailed descriptions, layouts, and pricing of Messe facilities.)

Makuhari New City, where the Messe is located, is a modern purpose-built convention city with a multitude of hotels, shops, and restaurants.  It is an extremely convenient destination for international events, being only 30-40 minutes from both Narita Airport (for international guests) and from Central Tokyo (for domestic guests).  Access to cities around Chiba and Greater Tokyo is also very convenient.
