Shimizu Park (Noda City)
Visitors can enjoy viewing typical Japanese plants such as cherry trees, Japanese apricot trees, Japanese wisteria, and azaleas at this large park. The cherry blossoms here are especially nice. This site was selected as one of the "100 best Japanese Cherry Blossom Viewing Spots".
Chiba Prefectural Sekiyado Castle Museum (Sekiyado Town)
This is a unique museum with the external appearance of a castle. There are many large rivers in Chiba Prefecture which have been used for transportation for centuries. The museum introduces the history of such rivers, and the folktales and literature inspired by the rivers.
Noda Tanabata Festival (Noda City)

This is the largest street festival in Noda. Gorgeous bamboo decorations appear here and there on the streets, and various events such as dances, parades, and the "Regatta Road Race" are held over a three-day period.
Akebono Mountain Agricultural Park (Kashiwa City)
Windmills stand in a beautiful tulip field here, giving the park a Dutch countryside atmosphere. In addition, there is an aquatic botanical garden where irises are planted and a Japanese garden where you can relax with nature's greenery and the many flowers.
Hiregasaki Obisha (Nagareyama City)
Date: January 20
Obisha is an event of the New Year which extends throughout the entire Kanto district. It is a Shinto ritual for farmers who pray for a good harvest with bows and arrows that drive away evil spirits. In the Ikazuchi Shrine obisha is held on January 20 each year, followed by kagura (sacred music and dancing) and kyogen (comic interludes).
Kikkoman Monoshiri Soy Sauce Hall (Noda City)
Shoyu or soy sauce is the world famous seasoning proudly from Japan. Kikkoman is a well-established soy sauce company. Displays of machinery used in the fermentation process in olden times and a file presentation are featured at the Monoshiri Hall, so visitors can learn about the history and methods of soy sauce manufacturing. Every visitor receives a complimentary bottle of soy sauce as a souvenir.
Asahi Breweries, Kashiwa Plant (Kashiwa City)
This Asahi Breweries' plant produces cider soft drinks, orange juice, and canned coffee. Ingredients from around the world are collected, and high quality products are produced with the latest equipment.
