Noh has about 700 years of history which has all essence of dance, drama, music and poetry nurtured by Japanese for centuries. The main characters are ghosts, and they tell stories of their past lives. For an additional cost, Takigi Noh, an outdoor performance by the light of a bonfire, is also available.

Performers wear masks depicting anger, laughter, Hyottoko and Okame (humorous folk characters), and dance to the Bakappayashi festival music. The Baka-men originated a century ago, when fishing villages around Funabashi prayed to expel evil spirits and ensure safety at sea.
