The MICE Division of the CCB-IC set up a booth at the 21st International Meetings Expo (IME2011) , the only comprehensive convention event of its kind in Japan, in order to promote MICE events in Chiba Prefecture. Various businesses and organizations from all over the country gather in one building to create a great chance for growth in the MICE industry. “Team Chiba” cooperated with Chiba, Urayasu, Narita, and Kisarazu Cities, as well as 6 Hotels in Makuhari, the Narita Hilton, and the Kazusa Akademia Hall, to open a booth and took consultations from 181 MICE related companies.
The MICE Division will use the personal contacts and information gathered to help bring MICE events to help Chiba Prefecture, in order to Chiba Prefecture and the local economy recover.
