The Chiba Convention Bureau and International Center (CCB-IC) staff conducted international marketing activities to bring in new international events to Chiba Prefecture.
This year’s IMEX America was bigger than ever, with a larger exhibition space, more exhibitors, and most importantly, more buyers. The Japanese booth brought in a lot of visitors with all kinds of Japanese Sake and a pro sushi chef.
Two members from the CCB-ICs MICE Promotion division attended the event, meeting with organizers of events between 200 and 2000 people. The staff exchanged information with the organizers, getting information and explaining the merits of Chiba Prefecture. The CCB-IC is now pursuing these leads.
