Free Wi-Fi Across Japan for Overseas Tourists Staying at Hotels in Chiba City

From November 20, 2015 to March 31, 2016, tourists from overseas who stay at participating hotels in Chiba City can get free Wi-Fi access at 200,000 hotspots across Japan.

Tourists can receive a pamphlet at their hotel that explains how to download the Travel Japan Wi-Fi app to their smartphone or tablet (the app is compatible with iOS and Android), as well as an access code called a Premium Code, which is valid for 2 weeks. The app and pamphlets are available in English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Korean, and Thai. There is no need to enter a SSID to connect, and internet access is unlimited during the 2-week period. Hotspots are located throughout cities like Tokyo, Kyoto, Nagoya, Okinawa, Takayama, Sendai, Matsuyama, and Fukuoka. Participating hotels include the Keisei Hotel Miramare, Sankei City Hotel Chiba, Hotel Sun City Chiba, Hotel Sunroute Chiba, Birdie Hotel Chiba, Japanease Inn Hakusen, Hotel Soga International, Hotel New Tsukamoto, Business Hotel Marine, APA Hotel & Resort Tokyo Bay Makuhari, Hotel Green Tower Makuhari, and Hotel Francs.

Just by staying overnight in Chiba City, tourists can enjoy the rest of their travels in Japan with ease. Invite your friends and family to visit Chiba and take advantage of this convenient service!
