Urayasu City lies adjacent to Metropolitan Tokyo right across the old Edo River and is known in Japan as ‘the town of Tokyo Disney Resort’.
While having the aspect of a modern cosmopolitan city along with its urban resort zone, the atmosphere of Edo period remained intact. It is our pride to have this culture rooted in the interaction with river and sea which was developed through the ancient time.
Apart from Tokyo Disney Resort are various sightseeing destinations such as museums where one can observe old Japanese-style houses and play ancient games while learning about the history of Urayasu. Helicopter cruising allows visitors to enjoy sceneries from the sky while yakatabune boat ride takes participants to an enjoyable Tokyo Bay cruising experience. Japanese-style large-scale hot spring bathing facilities are also available in addition to many attractive restaurants including some authentic cuisines that will surely satisfy one’s appetite.
