Participating in JNTO's Familiarization Trip "Meet Japan"

To keep up in the increasingly competitive international events market, Chiba Convention Bureau and International Center (CCB-IC) participates in JNTO’s international conference organizers familiarization Trip and business workshop, “Meet Japan” ever year. 9 participants were divided into 5 courses which were split among nine different international contention cities in Japan.

The CCB-IC welcomed 2 guests, one from the United Kingdom and one from India, for 3 days and 2 nights starting March 3rd. The guests where shown conference facilities and hotels based on their needs, as well as local tourism attraction in Narita City, Chiba City, and Urayasu City such as a Japanese party boat, tea ceremony, and rites at a Buddhist temple.

The guests experienced the convenience of being located between two international airports and easy to use layout of Chiba’s convention facilities, hotels, and shopping areas for themselves. They also expressed their appreciation for the incredible hospitality they received while in Japan, whether it be from hotel, convention bureau, or city officials.

The CCB-IC took this opportunity to further strengthen its ties with related local organizations and expand its initiatives. The CCB-IC also promote Chiba to all of the participants at the business workshop on the last day. The CCB-IC will continue its initiatives to help develop the local economy.
