Chiba Convention Bureau and International Center (CCB-IC) has launched the ‘COVID-19 Support Program which started on Thursday, May 28, 2020 and will run until end of August of the same year. The program is part of the CCB’s own emergency measures to support partners who were affected by the impact of the novel coronavirus pandemic. This is also to help resume economic activities especially the Business Meeting Industry in the Prefecture.

The Program is comprised of two schemes. The first one, is accommodation support plan which provide medical-related personnel and business event-related individuals or groups to CCB’s exclusive discount coupons to various participating hotels which will entitle them to 50% discount or up to 5,000 yen reduction on the accommodation rate. On the other hand, video message campaign features messages from different members containing voices on how they are preparing on accommodating visitors and international events once the activities resumed. This will be uploaded on Chiba Convention Bureau’s homepage and other social networking service tools. Moreover, local enterprises will be provided with promotional tool through the Bureau homepage where they can advertise and promote products and services.
