The 20th International Congress on Neuromuscular Diseases (ICNMD2027) to be held in Chiba

The Chiba Convention Bureau and International Center (CCB-IC) is pleased to announce that Chiba has been selected to host the 20th International Congress on Neuromuscular Diseases. The ICNMD2027 expects to attract approximately 1,500 participants, including around 1,000 international delegates. The Congress will take place from July 7 to July 11, 2027, at Makuhari Messe and Hotel New Otani Makuhari in Chiba City.

In its bid to host the ICNMD2027, the CCB-IC worked closely with Professor Hiroyuki Murai of the Department of Neurology from the International University of Health and Welfare.  They also have collaborated with the Japan National Tourism Organization (JNTO), Chiba Prefecture, Chiba City, Makuhari Messe, and other key institutions, creating ‘Team Chiba,’ who worked hand-in-hand in assisting the organizers all throughout the bid process. These collective efforts have resulted in Chiba winning the bid for hosting the ICNMD2027.
