Yakatabune Set Sail Along Tateyama Bay

Yakatabune was set offshore first time on April 27, 2019, the start of the 10-day Golden Week holiday. The 40-minute houseboat tour of Tateyama Bay allowed passengers to enjoy the view of the surroundings including Okinoshima Island and Mt. Fuji at distance.

Yakabutabune is a Japanese-style party boat where eating and drinking on board is allowed while sailing. The old-school houseboat is about 20 meters in length, 5 meters width, and weigh 19 tons that can carry about 88 people.

While the trip is available only on daytime at present, operators are looking on the possibility of extending it until evening.
