a. Factory tour half-day course

JFE Steel Corporation East Japan Works (Chiba)

JFE Steel East Japan Works (Chiba) was the first coastal steelworks for integrated steelmaking built after the war in Japan. It covers an area of 164 Tokyo Domes. While always making use of state-of-the-art technology and equipment, it produces premium steel products.

Toyo-Sasaki Glass Co., Ltd. Chiba Plant

This is a manufacturing plant for houseware products, focused on glass tableware. The work extends from automation to glass products made artistically by hand.

Sapporo Beer Chiba Plant Marine House

At the Sapporo Beer Chiba plant, the Sapporo beer tasty from the balancing of the aroma, flavor and bitterness, and featuring a good sharpness when swallowing, is made in an environment surrounded by sea and greenery.


b. Science museum and research half-day course

Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) Institute of Developing Economies

At the JETRO research institutes, basic and comprehensive studies are carried out into issues related to the economies, politics and societies of developing countries and regions, starting with Asian countries, and it contributes to the expansion of harmonious trade and investment with Japan and to promoting economic cooperation with developing countries.

Seiko Instruments Inc.

(SII Makuahri Building 1F) You can see an introductory video of the history of watch manufacturing and manufacturing processes, and a product exhibition with watches, electronic dictionaries and electronic equipment. Also, there is a timing system for competitive swimming.

Chiba City Museum of Art

Chiba City Archaeological Research Center

Within Chiba City, there are around 1,300 sites of ruins. At these ruins, excavation research will be carried out on various factors. QVC Marine Field

QVC Marine Field is the home of Chiba Lotte Marines who belong to the Pacific League. Famous fireworks are held at every game in August. In other months they are held on Fridays. Also, elaborate seats and events are provided to meet a variety of tastes.

Makuhari Messe

Makuhari Messe is made up of the largest international exhibition hall in Japan, an international meeting venue with 22 meeting rooms, and the Makuhari event hall with a maximum capacity of 9,000 people, and a variety of trade fairs, international conferences and concerts are held here.

Chiba Urban Monorail

Chiba urban monorail is the world’s longest suspended monorail in operation, and is also recognized by Guinness. In July, 2012, the new vehicle, URBAN FLYER 0 also debuted.

Chiba Zoological Park

With a size exceeding 7 Tokyo Domes, in Chiba Zoological Park there are 7 zones in which 143 kinds of animal live. In the adjacent amusement park, the Ferris wheel and roller coaster are popular.

Chiba Prefectural Museum of Art

This museum houses around 2,300 works in a variety of fields such as Japanese paintings, Western paintings, sculpture and crafts. This is a place of relaxation which exhibits Japanese and overseas works such as those of Millet, Corot and Courbet, and including the works of Asai Chu who had connections with Boso,.

Hoki Museum

This museum is the first art museum in Japan specializing in photorealistic paintings. These are densely crafted works in which the artist takes his time, facing one picture It is appreciated if you feel that these works express more than reality.
