The 62nd Annual Spring Meeting of the Japanese Society of Clinical Cytology held at Makuhari Messe The 62nd Annual Spring Meeting of the Japanese Society of Clinical Cytology was held successfully at Chiba’s prime convention complex, Makuhari Messe from June 4 to June 6, 2021. The meeting has brought together approximately 1,500 in-person participants from the medical field. This year’s theme focused on the future of Cytology in Japan where further development of Cytology and its contribution to society were thoroughly discussed.

Cvent Named Chiba as Top 25 Meeting Destinations in Asia for 2019 Cvent unveiled the list of top meeting destinations in which Chiba was among the names on the top 25. The lists were said to be compiled based on the meeting and event booking activity across the Cvent’s venue sourcing site in 2018. The destinations are ranked based on specified criteria on number of unique request proposal received, granted no. of request for proposals, qualified meeting venues, etc.
Diplomats Study Tour to Chiba Held Successful On 10th of July 2019 held the Diplomats Study Tour to Chiba. The tour is courtesy of Chiba Convention Bureau and International Center in cooperation with Chiba Prefecture, Chiba City and various private enterprises, in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Yakatabune Set Sail Along Tateyama Bay Yakatabune was set offshore first time on April 27, 2019, the start of the 10-day Golden Week holiday. The 40-minute houseboat tour of Tateyama Bay allowed passengers to enjoy the view of the surroundings including Okishima Island and Mt. Fuji at distance.

Chiba to Host the Monorailex 2019 The Chiba Convention Bureau is delighted to announce that Monorailex 2019 will be hosted in Chiba on November 24 to 27, 2019. This will be the first Monorailex meeting in Japan. The event expects to cater approximagtely 60 representatives from different countries.
Tokyo DisneySea's New Themed Port's Name Revealed Oriental Land Co., Ltd. has announced Tuesday the name of the new themed area in Tokyo DisneySea be ‘Fantasy Springs’, the eighth and newest themed port which is being developed together with a new Disney hotel in which the construction expects to finish in 2021. The project is part of the large-scale expansion plan of Tokyo DisneySea Park with an investment worth 250 billion yen, the most costly expansion at Tokyo Disney Resort project by far according to operator.
